About Bridget Weber
Hello! I am an educator and art specialist, teaching about the wonders of Creation and all of its beauty and intricacies. I teach students to marvel at our world and all the beauties and wonder and life it holds.I have recently coauthored and illustrated the children's book called 'My Caribbean Dream: A Children's Celebration of Island Conservation.' It was written to educate and build awareness regarding the fragility and endangered biodiversity of the Caribbean. The original paintings, which became the illustrations for the book, are each part of a theme that begs for a caretaker's hand in children, who will become the next generation of conservationists. Many of my pieces hold whimsy captured in childhood Children's art work is what inspires me! I love the way they use unexpected colors and are not concerned about 'rules' but paint with their hearts, giving animals soulful eyes, proportion that is off, creating a colorful spirited fiesta of color and vibrance. Currently I teach but also run international art camps for children less privileged who might never get opportunity to hold a paint brush and glide the magic across a page. I believe all art relays a message. I still feel like a child when I look at our Maker's amazing world and never lose my wonder at its beauty and life, so I paint it and celebrate it!
